GRAY MEDIA, LLC (GRAY), headquartered in Seattle—USA, is seeking an Editorial Director.
2019 will be a year of change for GRAY as we ramp up for a global, omni-media expansion. The CEO is on the hunt for an experienced editorial director with a passion for design who not only has the editorial chops and strong leadership skills to manage editorial teams across multiple platforms—but who is also a visionary, and exceedingly innovative and business savvy to work closely with her to develop the company’s expansion.
The right candidate is entrepreneurial, energetic, and believes in extreme ownership. They have national or international publication experience, have built out new departments or media platforms, and have led multiple projects simultaneously.
This is a public-facing role representing GRAY that often includes public speaking and appearances. The Editorial Director meets with high-profile designers, artists, and business leaders, attends and leads industry events, and is seen as a tastemaker and influencer immersed in the design industry.
