GRAY Media is on the hunt for an ambitious, forward-thinking Events Director who is creative, detail-oriented, and understands the value of delivering exceptional events as a successful business channel. GRAY produces or is a media partner for approximately 40 regional and global events annually. Our Events Director owns them from top-to-bottom, ensuring high attendance and positive, memorable experiences for attendees, participants, and stakeholders.

What you’ll do:

  • Work closely with executive, sales, and editorial teams to develop ideas and translate creative briefs into successful events
  • Design, plan, manage and deliver a variety of high-profile and complex events
  • Create and implement marketing/PR strategy and event collateral
  • Lead on-site execution, including set-up, run-of-show, and break down
  • Maintain overview of entire events, including venue search, design, branding, liaising with suppliers, participants, and stakeholders
  • Deliver on all stakeholder expectations and exceed overall expectations
  • Manage budget and relationships with both internal and external stakeholders


What we’re looking for:

  • 3-5 years experience in event or hospitality industry
  • Proven track record managing and delivering events for premium audience and brand
  • Meticulous attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Grace under pressure: can think on feet
  • A drive to produce exceptional events
  • At the core, an entrepreneurial spirit and proactive leader

Duration: Full-time, permanent
