Bethanie Jones is an artist and designer with experience working in a variety of disciplines from painting, sculpture, architecture, web design, and digital art. In an event titled “Sensory Romance,” Jones will be debuting a series of abstract paintings created with natural dyes and homemade pigments and paints. This series was inspired by concepts of memory and nostalgia and will be on display at the Glasswing Greenhouse for four weeks.
The collection will debut on Thursday, June 9th 2022, as a part of Capitol Hill Art Walk with the artist reception from 6 - 9 pm. Performing live for the opening reception is Seattle-based musician, Bradley Pooler with his project “Plant Soundscapes.” Through his modular synthesizer, Pooler transforms the currents from the greenery surrounding him into a twinkly, ambient listening experience. Refreshments will be provided by Walden Selections.
