GRAY Loves: Hand-Turned Salt Cellar from Hew Woodworking

No offense to the salt shaker, but a classic salt cellar is a very now place to stash your seasoning. This particular number is hand-turned from a solid piece of walnut and comes from Portland’s Hew Woodworking, a company that designs and crafts handmade furniture and small goods and was founded in 2013 by former architectural designer Sterling Collins.

Each salt cellar is equipped with a spoon—in either copper or a free-turned maple—and when not dishing out the good stuff, is stored neatly within the cellar lid.
