Drawing inspiration from the vibrant city of Milan and its diverse neighborhoods, Studiopepe designs Theia Tiles’s latest collection of creative tiles.
Studiopepe is a Milan-based architecture and design studio specializing in luxury retail, hospitality, residential, and product design. For their collaboration with Theia Tiles, they created a unique amalgamation of contemporary design and traditional craftsmanship. Comprising three individual tiles, each named for a specific Milanese neighborhood, the collection represents a visual exploration of the city’s distinctive character. The tiles are crafted in Portugal using earthenware — a simple, eco-friendly material made of just water and clay — then pressed, fired, and hand-painted.
