Seattle Modern Home Tour Various Seattle locations

Meet the architects, builders, and designers of some of the most striking homes in Seattle during the eighth-annual Modern Home Tour, which benefits the Seattle Architecture Foundation. Elias Hansen, “The Best Truth We Got” Adams and Ollman, 209 SW 9th Ave., Portland

Sculptor Elias Hansen is recognized for his idea of “Cascadian narratives,” which incorporate themes of ecology, punk, DIY subcultures, and new-age spirituality. The show will feature hand-blown glass, neon lights, tree branches, and other natural materials. (April 25–May 25; times vary)

UW Lecture Series: Architect Cristián Undurraga Architecture Hall, 3943 W Stevens Way NE, Seattle

The next installment of the University of Washington’s spring lecture series kicks off with Chilean architect and founder of Undurraga Devés Arquitectos, Cristián Undurraga, who will present a talk titled “Conversations from the South.” (April 24, 6 p.m to 7:30 p.m.; free)
